The Golden Slipper Festival is a world class sporting and social event heroed on the annual Events NSW calendar. It is run over three exhilarating weeks enriched with glamour, social, hospitality and celebrity action. There’s the fashion, fun and fillies of Myer Sydney Confidential Ladies’ Day, the pure racing action of Darley Guineas Day, and the heart stopping excitement of the famous AAMI Golden Slipper Day featuring the world’s richest race for two year old thoroughbreds, the AAMI Golden Slipper.

The 2009 Golden Slipper Festival boasts:

• 18 Group races run over three consecutive Saturdays culminating with five Group 1 races on AAMI Golden Slipper Day
