Darley Guineas Day, 'Sydney’s true punters day' is day two of the Golden Slipper Festival, sees the country’s finest thoroughbreds converge on Rosehill Gardens in search of success in the $500,000 Darley Rosehill Guineas. It’s also the last chance to qualify for the AAMI Golden Slipper, so the action on the racecourse is guaranteed to be hot.

In an Australian first, punters at Rosehill Gardens this Saturday will receive a 10% bonus on Win dividends placed through the on-course tote (TAB) on Rosehill Gardens races.

The TAB, in partnership with Sydney Turf Club, will reward those punters who are at the Darley Guineas Day meeting, which is the ‘Punters Day’ of the Golden Slipper Festival.

There will be no limits or caps placed on this bonus, which will be available across the win bet pools on all nine races on the Rosehill card. The bonus applies to the stake as well as the winnings – meaning a $1 win bet on a horse paying $10 on the NSW TAB will net on-course punters an $11 collect, which is inclusive of the 10% bonus.

To receive the bonus payment, punters can present their winning ticket at any tote window on the day or choose to collect after race day at another race meeting or at an off-course NSW TAB.

What's On

• Two Group 2 showdowns; the Magic Night Stakes (fillies) and Perfect Vision Pago Pago Stakes (colts) – with the two-year-old horses making a last ditch chance to earn a guaranteed place in the AAMI Golden Slipper held a week later.
• Punter's Podium - Sydney’s punters day wouldn’t be complete without a Punters’ Podium and $3,000 in TAB betting vouchers to be given away.  All racegoers who enter the course before 2pm will receive a flyer on entry for the chance to win a $500 bet on the Darley Rosehill Guineas and there will be losing ticket draws after races 3, 4, 5 and 6. Hosted by news and racing presenter, Frank Coletta, Glen Munsie and Richard Callender, the Podium is free to the public in front of the main band stage from 1pm until 4.30pm. The Podium will be decked out with a bar, theatre-style seating, plasma televisions and tote monitors – all of the necessities for a good day on the punt!  
• The $500,000 Group 1 Darley Rosehill Guineas will be the highlight of the racing program which also features the final two AAMI Golden Slipper qualifiers and our celebrity tipsters will be there to steer you (hopefully) in the right direction
